Oh there you are, Friday.

Thankful that Friday is finally here!  It has been a busy week, like normal and weekends are always for rest and fun with family.   Lets hope right into some of my favorites for the week.

One

The chick-fil-a mobile app is a game changer.  I have used this several times for the past two week for Luke and Griffin and it just makes like easy!  Every Friday, we get Griffin dinner from here and I order on the app and let them know when I arrive in the parking lot.  My card number is saved on the app, so there is no going through the line to pay either.  You walk in and they are handing your bag that second.  It is amazing!  Way faster than the already fast drive thru, too.  My only recommendation would be that they have a parking spot designated for the mobile app users and they could bring your food out to the card.  This would help for the parents with young children in the car and make for a smooth process.  If you haven't downloaded this app and your a chick-fil-a lover, this is a must!

Two
I firmly believe in children rear facing as long as possible.  My goal for Griffin was to make it to 3 years old if not to 4.  In all reality, adults would be safer if they were rear facing as well.  Sadly, Griffin was messing with his safety buckle trying to unfasten it.  It made me worried since I wasn't able to see him fully in the mirror, so we opted for his safety, so turn his car seat around.  Even though I hated to do it, Griffin loves it.  He talks non-stop in the car about everything that he is seeing and he loves that he can see Coleman better too.

Three
Coleman is on the move!  Well, he is trying really hard to be on the move.  This little booger is getting up on his knees and is constantly rolling around.  I can turn my head for one second and he has inched his way a good two to three feet from where I left him.  I have a feeling we may have an early crawler...which I need to mentally prepare for.

Four
Griffin started 2K this week!  He is at the same development center that he has been in since he was 3 months old.  So far this week he has told me that he made new friends and played a lot with cars.  What more could a boy ask for, huh?  This week he has been asking to sit on the potty more.  He hasn't used it at all this week, but I think asking to sit on it is a start.  Potty training starts at home in July/August and training starts at school in September.

Hello There, Friday

It's been a Hot minute since I did a Friday post, so lets hope right into things.

-One-
If you missed our exciting news, be sure to check out this post.  That's all I am going to say about that...for now.

-Two-
BB is back.  Big Brother that is!  I am a huge fan of the show and I love seeing all the house guest interact.  I guess I enjoy being able to snoop in on other people's life.  Kind of like reading y'all posts everyday.  If you are an avid watcher of BB, who is your top guest so far?  I am liking Austin and James so far.  Jason is up there too, but someone I am not sure about is Meg.  She is a little too much for me.

-Three-
I have been out with a bad back for about a week.  It is kept me laying down because sitting has just been too unbearable.  Thanks sciatic nerve!  Since I have been stuck at home, I binge watched Orange is the New Black.  It was a good season, but not as good as the first two.  I still enjoy the back stories on all the inmates.  I love seeing how they became what they are.

-Four-
We are so close to getting our CO on the house.  We have had some things come up, like a busted water pipe and our roof leaking.  We have had some good rain lately too which just made the property so muddy it is hard to drive on.  Even with us getting our CO soon, we are still going to wait a few more weeks to move in.  We decided to go ahead and landscape and have the driveway paved.  I can not wait till everything is complete and we are finally in our Home.

-Five-
I don't have anything for you!  Have a great weekend friends and be sure to link back with the ladies below!

Oh Hey, Friday!

Happy Fri-YAY my sweet sweet friends.  We have had some high temps this week and all I can think about is where is Fall.  I am not a summer girl and I am not a fan of being hot.  Drama much?
Anyway, hopefully sometime this summer we can make a trip to the pool a few times and a beach trip never hurts either.
Let's hope right into these 5 on Friday.

This week I celebrated my last year in my 20's.  I really don't have a problem growing older and there isn't much I dread about turning 30!  I had the day off work and was able to spend it with my Mom and Hubby.  I was so thankful for a relaxing day.  I have a lot of plans for my last year in my 20's.  Here is to a year or less on completing those plans.

Speaking of birthdays, I was my mom's birthday present 29 years ago today!  And since she is a twin, I am saying I was my Aunt's birthday present too!  Happy Birthday to these two fun chicks!

As part of the Can't Live Without It post, this goes along perfectly.  When in college there was always a group of us who would have lunch everyday.  One certain days of the week (I'm sure this is were the Freshman 15 came into play) we would all meet up at McAlister's Deli.  From my first time, I fell in love.  Luke and I would even make a 45 min trip just to a MD near us.  Well, I recently found out that there is one in Clemson, which will be 15 min from us when we move.  OMG, I am going to be in trouble.  I may have to limit myself to once every two weeks, because it is just that good.  And if you are wondering I get a Pepper Jack Turkey Sandwich, Swiss cheese instead of pepper jack, No bacon, extra honey mustard, on regular toasted white bread instead of the roll, with Potato Salad on the side.  Really, yummy.

-Five-
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!  I plan to enjoy our 4 day weekend to the fullest.  We have a birthday party to attend and we will be enjoying Memorial Day festivities with my mom's twin sister.  I hope you all enjoy as much as I will!

See y'all Monday!

Happy Weekend!

Happy Friday friends!  I had Monday off work for a holiday so this four day work week was much needed.  Let's hope right into my five on Friday.

-One-
Dare I say I can see the end in sight?  My husband thinks that we are about 2 weeks away from moving in.  Sometimes I can't see it, but here is to wishful thinking.  Some final coats of painting has been done this week as well as the delivery and installation of appliances.  Our stairs are also installed, they just need a coat of stain and paint.

-Two-
Griffin got to have a little play date with two friends yesterday.  We don't go to the playground much because it is always so crowded.  The temp was below 80 degrees but it was still so hot to be out there.  Every playground needs some shade and this place had none.  It was still good to meet up with a friend and get to chat since we don't get to often anymore.

-Three-
When I got home one day this week this is the first thing I saw.  This is our catch all table at the entrance of our house where we always throw our keys when we come in.  Right after I threw mine down, I saw that our little one had thrown his keys up there too.  It caught me off guard and it really shows how much he is paying attention and learning from us.

-Four-
Last weekend we made a trip to Greenville to pick up a Mother's Day gift from my brother and his wife to my mom.  We stopped by Steak n' Shake and had a late lunch. Griffin surprised me when he wanted this hat on and gave the sweetest grin while wearing it.  I am so blessed to be his Mama.

-Five-
Weekend plans are to start packing some more and just chill out.  Weekends have been packed so it will be nice to have a rest day in there some where.

Happy weekend!

Oh Hey, Friday.

Thank goodness that Friday has finally rolled around.  Let's just right into things, shall we.

{One} The Royal Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born.  I am sure everyone knows this.  She is beautiful in every way imaginable, and so is her mom.  I hate the flack that Kate gets after just giving birth.  It does not bother me once ounce that she looks perfect. Her hair is done just so, her makeup is flawless, and she is wearing heels.  I hate that women/mothers think they have to live up to her.  She has a pampered team with her I'm sure, and you know she is still rocking those mesh panties.  No reason to compare, ladies.

{Two}  I wanted to share a little sneak peek of Griffin's One Year Photos.  I will be sharing them ALL next week.  Get ready for some cuteness overload.

{Three} Mother's Day is this Sunday!  I don't know how this day came so quickly.  It honestly feels like we just celebrated my first as a mom, and now here we are again getting to celebrate all the mother's out there.  I am so very blessed with the best Mama and mother-in-law.  I am truly lucky to have them both.  I always think about people that have lost the mother and I always think about what a  hard day Mother's Day is for them.  If you know someone that will be celebrating Sunday without their mother, send them a quick message saying that you are thinking about them.  It may just brighten up their day.

{Four}  I have been promising for weeks to do a house update.  It has been well over a month since I gave you a look into where we are, construction wise.  I have a whole post ready to go for Monday, so until then, here are some new furniture purchases for the new house.  We honestly have a storage building full of furniture from my parents' previous house.  We are lucky enough to be getting it all, but there were still a few pieces that we wanted new.  As of now, the only thing that we "need" is a new king bed, 2 side tables, a dresser, dining room chairs, and island chairs.

{Five}  Something I have realized that I can not live without is the radio talk show I listen to every morning.  I am a country girl, but I listen to a pop radio station during my morning commute.  A lot of people think the radio personalities are corny and not funny at all.  I enjoy them being so carefree and you can really tell they just enjoy their job.  I can have a rough start to my morning and turn the radio on and have a better outlook on my day after listening to them.  It's the small things.

That's all I have for you today.  I hope you all have a great weekend.  Go hug your/a Mom!

Friday /Birthday Party Weekend/

The partying will never stop in my eyes.  We celebrated Griffin's birthday all last weekend, and plan on celebrating with our family and friends this weekend.  I am so looking forward to spending time with a lot of people that love my little boy.
While you are reading this, I am prepping away and getting ever detail completed in preparation for Saturday.
Let's go ahead and jump into Five on Friday.

{One}
I have really enjoyed getting to know some of the women over at "Can't Live Without It" the past 2 weeks.  If you are looking for another Friday Link up, be sure to check out Newlyweds:North.
I can not live without my pictures.  If you have been following my blog or you follow me on Instagram (sydedwards27) then you know I post at least one photo a day (if not more) of Griffin.  I have done this since the day he was born and I am so happy I have these to look back on.  Feel free to search #Edwardspartyof3, #Edwards365, and #Griffins25DaysofChristmas for all his fun pictures this past year.

{Two}

Now that the invitations are out, I can share them with y'all.  When I recap his birthday party in a week or two I will list all of the shops that I worked with.  There are some amazing small businesses out there.

{Three}

The weather has been so amazing.  All of our afternoons are still being spent outside.  A ride around the farm with Dada always proves to be a good time.

{Four}

Cabinets are still being installed (slowly) and our light fixtures have been installed.  Looking forward to sharing a house update with y'all next week.

{Five}

Wednesday was my Daddy's birthday.  Although I think of him every single day, he is always on my mind more on "special" days.  Would give anything to have him here and love on Griffin...and me.  Happy Birthday, Dad.

Flashback Friday

This is birthday month for Griffin, so be prepared for birthday overload for the rest of the month and I am sure into May.  You've been warned.

With it being Friday I wanted to do a little flashback to newborn Griffin.  I am trying to hold on to any "baby" strand that I can. Enjoy this easy Friday post.  Have a blessed weekend.

He was born to be a cuddle bug.  The kid is just like his Mama...and Dada.

Can't Live Without It

Its Friday and I'm over here screaming FRI-YAAY!!  I hope you have all had an amazing week back from Easter Weekend.

Today I am linking up with some new friends for their "Can't Live Without It" link up.  There link up is so easy and you can easily incorporate some "Five on Friday" and "Friday Favorites" with it too.
So link up with these ladies and share some things that you just can't live without.

-One-

They are both seriously some"thing" I could not live without.  They make my world a little more crazy but I am so blessed to have both of them.  I could not live without my boys.

-Two-

Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser + Moisturizer.  I use this stuff daily and it is honestly the best make-up remover I have ever used. I love how refreshing it makes my skin feel.  I could not live without this little miracle in a bottle.

-Three-

The black tank.  If you see me on a daily basis, there is a 95% chance that I am wearing a black tank top.  This is a huge staple piece in my closet and you can find closely to 12 of these. I even like to layer them under tshirts.

-Four-

Sweet Tea.  I'm from the South.  There is nothing else to say about it. (Ha)

-Five-

Photos.  I don't know what it is but there is no way I could live without my pictures.  They are blurry and grainy, but I love them.  I take a photo everyday of Griffin (#edwardspartyof3 #edwards365)  I find myself not wanting to miss a day or forget a day.  I may have 3,867 photos on my phone (not an exaggeration) but I love them. Something I would never want to live without.

Fri-YAY!

Y'all ready for the weekend?  What better way to start off a Friday then some of my Friday Favorites.  Lets hop right in.

-ONE-
Be sure to go back to this post to get a discount code for LittleBLove Etsy Shop.  She has several designs to choose from and she also does fun Holiday shirts that you can dress up yourself with your little mini.

-TWO-

We celebrated Griffin's first St. Patrick's Day this week.  I have loved celebrating all of his first holidays and it is sad to think that he only has Easter left to celebrate.

-THREE-

The weather here has been out of this world.  We have had some great 70+ degree days and our afternoons are spent outside.  Outside is Griff's happy place and we have been enjoying it after dinner.  He is an outdoor boy just like his Dada and he is turning his Mama into one too!

-FOUR-

House update. We have started priming the walls and it has really transformed the house.  I can only imagine what it will look like once the paint is up.  Our custom cabinets are to be installed on Monday and the granite guy should be in right after him. We made a trip to Elberton, GA this week to pick out the granite and I love this Colonial White for the kitchen, mudroom, and master bath.

-FIVE-
In other house news, we have picked out lighting!!  I will do a full post on our lighting, but for now here is a sneak peek at the one that will go in my master closet.  We wanted a larger/longer light since our ceilings are so tall to make it look like it fit the room. I love this collection from Kichler and can't wait to see it hanging
