2014 {A Year in Review}+Picture Overload

It is a huge understatement to say that 2014 has been the best year ever.  I have so many happy moments this year and I feel so blessed.  I wanted to share some of our highlights from the past 365 days.

{JANUARY}

 We spent some time looking through baby photos of myself and Luke to see what our son may look like.  Griffin definitely looks like his Dada.
Our sons bedding came in from Carousel Designs.  His crib bedding is honestly my favorite thing in his nursery.
I found out I was gaining another child to love.  I am now a proud Aunt to Declan and Norah.
{FEBRUARY}

Much of February was spent inside.  He had a huge snow/ice storm that kept us inside for days.  I did venture out to get the mail a few times and celebrated Griffin's "1st" snow. Celebrated still being able to see my feet, too!
{MARCH}

This month was full of our baby being showered with lots of love.  We are so blessed with wonderful family and friends and the love they have for us and our son.
{APRIL}

Also known as the best month of my life.  We welcomed our miracle baby and we beat infertility.  God has been so good to us and we are forever grateful to be able to parent Griffin Mark Edwards.

{MAY}

I celebrated my first Mother's Day and it was one of the sweetest days.  It was spent at home with my family in my clean house, thanks to my Hubby.

My 28th Birthday was spent with my boys in Greenville for lunch and some time sitting in the park.

We welcomed a new cousin, Jacob,  in May for Griffin.  I can no wait for these two to grow up together.
 We celebrated cousins Sarah and Jon's wedding at the High Hampton in Cashiers, NC.  It was our first outing as a family of three.
 Uncle Jon Griffin, Auntie Lynn, Declan, (and baby Norah) traveled from PA to visit the new addition to the Edwards family.
 We took Griffin to see his future home and had a nice picnic.

Cuddle time with Aunt SaSa is always the best. May was a busy month for us.

{JUNE}

Griffin's bedding that a friend's mom made for me arrived and I.Love.It!!
 This is my sweet friend and her mom that delivered the bedding.  They came and got some good snuggles while they were there too.

 You officially gave me your best, biggest smile this month.  I just sat and watched you smile at me with tears in my eyes.  These is such a highlight.
We celebrated cousin Stephanie's wedding at Table Rock and it was beautiful!

DaDa celebrated his first Father's Day with you.
{JULY}

We celebrated Griffin's 1st July 4th.
 I went back to work after maternity leave and Griffin had his first day of Daycare.  I am thankful for the ladies that would send me pictures so I could see how his day was going.

Griff had his first experience in a pool.  He wasn't so sure about it at first, but he quickly became a little water baby.
{AUGUST}

We broke ground on the Edwards' Nest.  It was so neat watching everything happen.
Griffin decided Tummy Time wasn't that bad as long as you had a cool car to play with.
 Why is his Aunt the coolest?  Because she gave him another cousin to play with!
 We welcomed my niece, Norah into the world on August 10th.

 We experimented with some solids and tried out some Rice Cereal.  You were not a fan.  At all.
Luke and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary.  Time has flown by and I cannot believe this was three years ago.
{SEPTEMBER}

We took a trip to Cashiers, NC for the weekend and visited with family.
 Luke called and told me to put Griffin in his hunting shirt because he got his first deer of the season and he needed a picture with his boy.  I'm glad he like his photo opportunities, too.
Celebrated a Tiger Win!
We started the process of picking out all of our sinks, tubs, and other fixtures.  Griffin was seeing over everything.
 We were also able to celebrate Griffin's grandparents and great grandparents on Grandparent's Day.
{OCTOBER}

We took Griffin to his first High School football game and he met Radio with the help of cousin Monroe.

The house finally was in the dry and I love how our brick turned out.

This is probably one of my favorite pictures of my boys. Trip around the yard on a tractor is always fun.

Griffin started therapy to help with his tight muscles in his neck.  He loves Ms. Kaitlin.

You were the most adorable scarecrow this year for Halloween.  I still cant get over the cuteness.

We enjoyed some family time at Sky Top Apple Orchard picking apples,

 and picking out the perfect pumpkin at our Church's Pumpkin Patch.

Also cheering on your Tigers with Maymee.
And some trick-or-treating fun with friends, Addi and Britt.
{NOVEMBER}

Family came back in town and we finally had the chance to meet my niece, Norah. Declan is a great big brother!
 We baptized Griffin into the Methodist church with family present.  It was such a special day for us and we are thankful to our family that were able to make it to the service.
Our fall/winter pictures were taken and I've never been so happy with photos in my life.  Love my little family of three.
Griffin got his cranial band and we had it painted like an aviator helmet.  I took inspiration from his 6 month photos.
Griffin celebrated his 1st Thanksgiving (without eating a turkey leg...maybe next year)

{DECEMBER}
 Started Griffin's #Griffins25daysofChristmas.  I had so much fun with this.  I know next year will be even more so.
 Griffin spotted the tree.  He was gentle at first but then started swinging branches.
 Griffin was diagnosed with RSV and it was honestly one of the scariest things I've been through.

After 8 ear infections before the age of 8 months, you finally were able to have tubes and I am so grateful of how quick you bounced back.

Oh Santa.  These pictures make me melt.  You loved Santa so much and he loved you too.  I went to pick you up from his lap and he asked for more time with you.  He is the REAL St. Nick!

Christmas was so magical this year.  What a blessing to be able to hand 3 stockings this year.  I can not tell you how much joy they have brought me this season.

This year has really shed a whole new light.  I have became a Mama and our wonderful family of 2 has transitioned to a family of 3.  This makes life so blissful.  Looking back on this year the best moments are the ones that I spent with my family.  These are the ones that I want to remember.

Happy New Year's Eve!
