Raised in the heart
of South Carolina, I was always taught to be a lady and to remember who
I was. My roots are planted deep and I would'nt have it any other
way. My husband, Luke owns a Real Estate company and I work for the
government.
We married in August 2011 and hoped to start our family
sooner than later.
In 2012 we started seeing a Reproductive
Endocrinologist after having trouble conceiving on our own. In March
2013 we were thrilled to find out we were pregnant only to lose that
baby a few months later. After a short break, we were able to start
trying again and got pregnant in July 2013. Our miracle son, Griffin
was born on August 25, 2014.
This blog is a place for me to write my
thoughts, share a few recipes, the struggles with infertility, and
learning to be a Boy mom! We also started building a home on the most
perfect spot of land. I look forward to sharing with you the process
and where our Roots will be planted.
Aww I am so sorry about your loss. I am standing in agreement with you that God will fulfill your deepest desire.

I'm so sorry to read that you lost your sweet baby! I lost my first child in 2005.. Miller was born still full term and it was such a great loss, but it taught me so much. Just last week I suffered an early miscarriage after over nine months of trying and I am still trying to grasp it. I wish you all the luck in the world!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and I am loving it so far. You and your husband are adorable. I am adding y'all to my prayer list. I can't wait to read more! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sydney! Just stopping by to let you know that I've nominated you for the Liebster Award! I'm not sure if this is something you've received before or not, so if it is, feel free to just accept this as a shout out if you like. :) Either way, just know that I think your blog rocks!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great weekend!
