Weekends are for Family

This weekend sure was a hot one.  I am not a fan of the heat and I am so glad we were able to spend a portion of our weekend at the pool.  This is Griffin's first pool experience since he was two months old and it was Coleman's first time.  Griffin had a blast!  The excitement that came from his little body was almost uncontrollable.

This was Coleman 90% of the time.  It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, thanks to all the waves Griffin was making.  His hands go straight to his eyes every time he gets a bit sleepy and they stayed that way.

Sweet boy couldn't hang.  The pool was a little cool for him, but it didn't take long for him to get relax and fall right to sleep.

Griffin is defiantly going to be my water baby.  After Saturday, I told Luke we needed to invest in a pool and give this little ham what he wants.  I mean, who wouldn't want a water day every weekend?

After a glorious 3 hour nap by the entire Edwards family, the boys woke up with smiles on their faces.  These two love each other.  Griffin is always very attentive of Coleman and his needs, and Coleman just can't keep his eyes off of him.  Thankful for these brothers.

Papa was able to come over for a bit Sunday afternoon.  These two always seem to find a ball and kick it up and down the hallway.  I ask Griffin who your best friend was and he said, "Papa bessfran."  This boy think his Papa has hung the moon.

Sunday night, I went to IG and asked friends if they had any organizing advice for this mess.  Both boys share this closet, Coleman on the left and Griffin on the right.  Coleman's side is divided in top row being clothes he hasn't worn and bottom clothes that he has.  Griffin's top shelf is shorts and pants and I turn the hangers backwards for items he hasn't worn yet.  The bottom is shirts.  My type A personality isn't quiet happy with the set up so any advice on how you organize your kids closet would be oh so helpful!
Happy Monday Friends.

  2. They are so cute!! Can't wait to get a little pull and try it out. I'm guessing they wouldn't wear the helmet in the pool though, I don't guess getting it wet would help the smell!
